Gad Co American Rescue Act Technical Assistance Workshop

As a result of Public Law 117-2 (the American Rescue Plan), Gadsden County will be receiving assistance funds related to COVID 19. The Rescue Plan funding is provided directly to Gadsden County from the U.S. Department of Treasury. It is NOT administrated through the State of Florida, as the CARES funding. Therefore, this money is not subject to any spending plan agreement or other controls through the Florida Division of Emergency Management or any State agency.
The following descriptions include a brief summary of the funding assistance programs; and, details of the now less stringent eligibility and documentation requirements. The grant funding amounts provided below may be adjusted during the program as needs and demands may change. All grants will be provided on a “first qualified, first served” basis.
Descriptions & online application: Assistance Programs – Gadsden Rescue Residents Assistance
A Gadsden County Applicant/ Organization can only qualify and receive funding through one program under the Gadsden County American Rescue Plan Program. No Applicant/ Organization is eligible to receive funding assistance through more than one program under the Gadsden County American Rescue Plan Programs.
Technical Assistance sessions & Workshops will be held at the Chattahoochee Public Library – 300 Maple St, Chattahoochee. All these sessions are open to all residents, businesses, non-profits, and churches/ religious organizations that reside in the surrounding communities who seek assistance completing program applications or have technical assistance questions.
