Notice of Job Opening – Maintenance Worker I

The City of Chattahoochee is accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker I. This is a labor-intensive position which includes routine work of unskilled and semi-skilled manual tasks. The duties require the ability to do physical labor efficiently. Work is performed under the supervision of a foreman or designated supervisor who lays out the details of specific assignments and monitors work in progress and upon completion.

Minimum Required Training and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid Florida Driver License. This individual must possess the ability to perform routine manual work, the ability to work during adverse weather conditions, the ability to learn the use and operation of various routine maintenance equipment and tools and the ability to operate such equipment in a safe manner.
